La crescita economica e la creazione di posti di lavoro sono importanti, ma devono essere integrate, tra l’altro, da un’offerta sufficiente di servizi di qualità, alloggi, istruzione, apprendimento lungo tutto l’arco della vita e sistemi sanitari, onde garantire che le zone rurali non siano soltanto sostenibili, ma anche luoghi attraenti in cui vivere.
Economic growth and job creation are important, but they need to be complemented by, among other things, a sufficient supply of quality services, housing, education, lifelong learning and health systems to ensure that rural areas are not only sustainable but also attractive places to live.
